Tour 2 & 3 includes warehouses of collections, along with an ice cream shop & pizza place. After spending about 3 hours looking at the first 1/2 of this tour, one is usually ready for a break. Many old & unique things can be found during this section known as the streets of yesteryear.
Mikayla needed a break after about 3 hours of walking, so it was time for Nolan to use the backpack.

After our tour we had a late lunch in the picnic area. A doe & two fawns walked casually by without being spooked.

On Tuesday, we headed to Spring Green, Wisconsin (only about 1 hour from Wisconsin Dells) so we could tour the House on the Rock. Let me start by saying that if you've never been here, it is an extremely fascinating place to see & I would recommend going. Let me also say that the brochure says to allow 3 hours for the tour, but you should actually allow 4-5 hours. We had been here before in the summer of 2004 with Randall's parents, his sister, Renee & boyfriend, Chris. So, I knew from past experience that it would take more than 3 hours. The tour consists of an informational building filled with facts about the builder & his life & the different collections throughout the tour, the actual House on the Rock, then a couple of warehouses filled with collection after collection. Pictures & words don't do it justice at all. It's something you have to see in person to fully understand.
