Nolan has refused to take the pacifier, even when's he's fussy or tired. This doesn't surprise me because Mikayla was the same way. This usually wouldn't bother me, except in the cases when we're in public & he's tired & cranky. Nothing comforts him when he's tired except some white noise, a dark room & his crib, so I'm forced to shop with a crying baby. Luckily, he has found comfort at home sucking his fingers & has most recently discovered his thumb. I haven't yet got a picture of him sucking on his thumb, but see it daily in our video monitor. When he's getting ready to fall asleep or when he wakes up, you can view him sucking away on his cute little thumb.
