Mikayla had a great summer filled with lots of swimming. We enrolled her in 1 swimming lessons class in Chaska & 2 classes in Belle Plaine at the outdoor pool. It amazes me how much her swimming improved over the summer & how she can now actually swim without a life jacket (that part still makes me a little nervous even if she is within reach). Unlike Mikayla, Nolan has never been too interested in swimming, but even that greatly improved for him over the summer. He would barely even step foot into the splash pad area or pool last year & this year he seemed to really enjoy it. I am hoping by next year when he's 4, we'll be able to enroll him in swim lessons as well. Alaina's much more like Mikayla when it comes to swimming. She loves it & I'm sure she'll be ready for swim lessons by the time she's 3.
