Nolan has been busy as usual with lots of firsts over these past couple of months. It happened in such a blur that I can't even pin point a specific date, but he went from rolling around everywhere to doing the "army crawl" & now gets into absolutely everything. He can go from a crawling position into a sitting position & I imagine it will only be a matter of short time before he's actually crawling with his knees. He not only has his two bottom teeth, but his top two teeth have popped through as well, so there's been no shortage of baby drool in our household. Mikayla didn't even have 1 tooth by this age, so it amazes me that Nolan already has 4. Nolan continues to wear his helmet 23 hours/day & he just had his last physical therapy appointment today (February 22). Our most recent visit with the orthotics doctor last Friday the 19th gave us an update on Nolan's head formation. For us, it has been easy to see that the helmet has had a positive affect on the shape of his head, but the progress is slow & it will probably be at least another 3 months before it can be removed. He has already been wearing it for 4 months. He will have his head rescanned again in 6 weeks & we will be able to see how much progress he has had & will have a better idea how much longer it will be. He continues to be a very happy & smiley baby & even holds out his arms for me to pick him up which is a new & fun thing to see. He's a great sleeper, usually sleeping about 11-12 hrs. (7pm to 7am) at night & taking 2 naps during the day. His teething has never interrupted his nighttime sleep, but can sometimes make him fussy during the day. He loves to babble, drool, play the baby piano, crawl around & watch his sister be silly which makes him laugh.
